| Bio |
I’m a PhD Candidate at the Iliff School of Theology and University of Denver. I am of Chinese descent and hail from the Southeast Asian country of Malaysia, where I grew up in the bustling metropolis of Kuala Lumpur. I’m currently writing my dissertation interrogating the so-called liberatory elements of hybrid identities among postcolonial/marginalized communities through the examination of Chinese Christians in Malaysia. Outside the realm of Academia, I enjoy exploring and eating food. I’m also a huge nerd who enjoys watching copious amounts of sci-fi movies and shows (which provides lots of rich resources for postcolonial theory in my opinion), and drinking lots of coffee. |
