RS Wafula graduated with a PhD from Drew University. He has taught at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He has also taught courses in adjunct capacity at St. Joseph’s University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and Drew University (Madison, New Jersey). RS is the author of Biblical Representations of Moab: A Kenyan Postcolonial Reading, The Postcolonial Church: Theology, Identity, and Mission (co-editor), Knowledge Activism Beyond Theory: A Worldwide Call to Action (co-authored), Postcoloniality, Translation, and the Bible in Africa (co-editor).

Dr. Mwaniki graduated with a PhD in New Testament studies and Gender from the University of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa in 2011. She is currently the Director of Theology, Family Life and Gender Justice at the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), prior to which she was a lecturer at St Paul’s University, Kenya. Mwaniki is also the author of several published articles including: “Ethnicity and the December 2007 Post-Election Violence in Kenya: A Postcolonial Examination and a Theological Response” and “Gender Equity in Leadership: An Examination of Practicing Biblical Equity in Churches in Kenya.”

John O. Ndavula is currently a Lecturer and Head of Department for Communication Studies at St. Paul’s University, Limuru, Kenya. He holds a PhD in Mass Communication from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He is also the editor of African Multidisciplinary Journal of Research, and Kikwetu: A Journal of East African Literature. He is also the author of a forthcoming book entitled: Social Media and Political Campaigns in Kenya: An Examination of the Influence of Social Media on Election Processes
