Support Majority World Authors with Your Expertise
Borderless Press (borderlesspress.org) is a project of Postcolonial Networks, a nonprofit 501c3 devoted to the publication of peer-reviewed academic works by scholars in the Majority World. Through its knowledge activism Borderless Press shepherds authors and their projects from the initial research question to development of methodology, argument, pre-peer review, revisions, double blind peer review, copy editing, production layout, cover design, index, back cover endorsements and marketing. We offer all our services on a voluntary basis. The Borderless Press team is composed of voluntary scholar editors from a number of disciplines.

Borderless Press seeks knowledge activist (voluntary) copy editors to work on a project-by-project basis for academic writing in the forms of full length manuscripts (100,000 words) authored by Majority World (Africa, Asia, and South America) scholars. Our copy editors review manuscripts that have successfully passed double-blind peer review and have been revised following the recommendations of peer reviewers. The copy editing stage of book development is the final review before the book goes into production for publication. Our copy editors are disciplined in keeping the indigenous voice and style of writing while continuing the development of a manuscript that is accessible to readers. The copy editor focuses on punctuation, grammar, syntax, organization, footnotes, and other matters of style. Our projects are running 20 hours of work per book.br
